Southwood Hall loves a great party and celebrations of all forms so if it’s another of life’s special moments, a Charity fundraiser, School Prom, Christmas party or a Corporate event we would love to welcome you.
Event Coordinators are on hand to take the burden of planning; we can help as much or as little as you would like. A fantastic, experienced resource to be relied on; full of realistic advice freely shared on all that can be achieved and access to the best service providers available to enhance your celebration.
Christmas is a favourite time of the year; the barn is decorated in gorgeous brown, gold and copper tones with an abundance of fairy lights and dramatic tall trees. Underfloor heating keeps the space warm and snug while we welcome guests to celebrate in style.

Proms and school leaver celebrations are hosted as the summer term draws to a close. We love the arrival cavalcade and efforts put into achieving unique and grand entrances, all carefully managed by our team to keep everyone safe.

Awards presentations and speeches can happen on the terrace or inside from the stage. Our giant projection screen can be put to great use sharing slideshows and photo loops. Voting apps and QR codes can be linked to enable on the spot awards and the sharing of everyone’s favourite images.
Naming ceremonies can be celebrant led and a lovely reason to gather with family and friends. We have so much space available for games on the lawn and our giant inflatable obstacle course or bouncy castle adds fantastic entertainment. A relaxed family day can be completed with delicious catering from our barbecue lodge.
We feel it important that all of life’s key events are celebrated and those involved supported. We are honoured if asked to host celebrations of life, humanist funeral services or memorial gatherings.
Décor and staging can be coordinated on your behalf by our skilled in-house team. Coloured table linens, centrepieces & even a red carpet are available from our recommended stylists at KWF to perfectly match your charity, corporate or school identity.
Menu’s can be tailored to your tastes or to fit party schemes.
Themed dining can be created, favourite foods featured and spectacularly Instagrammable delicious dishes offered.
Bookings more than a year ahead will attract our full rate hire charge however if your celebration is evening only (i.e starting after 6pm) then we can offer a discounted hire fee for part-day use.
Shorter notice events in the coming months can sometimes be accommodated with more significant discounts so please do get in touch.
