10 years after their first date, it was finally time for Hannah & Neil to tie the knot and become the new Mr & Mrs Smedley!

After a relaxing night in the Cartshed Lodge, Hannah couldn’t wait to be reunited with her three gorgeous boys who arrived looking adorable in their matching little outfits and admired their beautiful mum in her princess dress!  As the final preparations took place, Neil and the boys arrived and made sure everything was in place for the ceremony.

It wasn’t long before guests took to their seats and awaited the arrival of the bridal party.  Each of our beautiful Bridesmaids paired up with one of our cute Paige boys to lead the way down the aisle – Freddie’s ‘Daddy here comes mummy’ sign brought a smile to everyone’s faces!  Hannah looked absolutely beautiful in her fitted mermaid gown and her Dad certainly looked very proud to be walking her down the aisle.

After an emotional ceremony, guests made their way outside with a glass of fizz, bottled beer or raspberry lemonade and embraced the chill in the air for some photos on the terrace including that all important confetti shot!

Inside the barn, our musician provided live entertainment as guests mingled and helped themselves to a snack or two from our static canape ladders.

Guests found their way to their seats with help from the stunning table plan and beautiful sparkly pine cones displaying guests’ names.  They all soon opened up their scratch card favours and there was a buzz of excitement – I wonder if we had any lucky winners?!

Chef served a tasty three course wedding breakfast – roasted tomato soup or ham hock terrine to start, Southwood salt beef with all the trimmings for main or salted caramel and chocolate tart or apple and blackberry gingerbread crumble for dessert – simply delicious!

Hannah’s Dad kicked off the speeches in style before passing over to Neil, our Groom, who had plenty of thank-you’s and gifts to hand out.  Hannah’s bridesmaid Cath told everyone how proud she is of both our newlyweds and certainly took credit for their blossoming romance after setting them up on their first date all those years ago!  Baz finished off the speeches with a cracking toast and plenty of embarrassing pictures of Neil from over the years too ????

After the formalities Daniel Lightening whisked the new Mr & Mrs Smedley off outside for some more romantic shots including those under KWF’s festoons along the terrace, the twinkly lights at dusk looked amazing.

With their wedding cake officially cut, Hannah & Neil took to the dance floor for their first dance as man and wife to one of their favourite tracks – ‘never seen anything quite like you’ by The Script.  The perfect song choice for the perfect day.

We have loved every second of helping you plan your special day and it’s been an honour to host your wedding.  We wish you both a world of happiness together, with little Freddie, Ralph & George too!  Congratulations Mr & Mrs Smedley! Xx
