Once upon a time in a barn in Southwood a gorgeous Princess married her handsome Prince with their three little Princesses by their side – Wow, what a Fairy tale of a wedding that we had the honour of hosting yesterday!

As our lovely Bride and her three Bridesmaids took shelter in the Cartshed Lodge with the lovely Gemma Holiday Hair Artistry -Hairstylist & trainer for company to complete their preparations; guests were welcomed in out of the wind with a lovely glass of raspberry prosecco.

With Donna and Louis’ nearest and dearest sat with baited breath it was time to collect the Bride and wow – what a bridal party! The gorgeous Bride was beautiful in a fitted lace gown with fresh roses in her hair, while Sophie sparkled in the most incredible floor length gown (with Jimmy Choos, of course!) and the adorable Bella and Evie each had lovely ivory dresses, one of which was perfect for spinning around in!

No surprises then when a few tears were shed as the lovely ladies made their way down the aisle to the breath taking sounds of friend Ronan singing.

After a heart-warming ceremony there was more pink Champagne along with canapes as guests mingled and had their photo taken by James Rouse Photography (sadly without the hair extensions that Gemma Holiday Hair Artistry -Hairstylist & trainer had offered him earlier in the day!).

As friends and family found their seats for the wedding breakfast, they were truly wowed by the incredible centrepieces. Donna clearly has awesome taste and always had a clear vision for her glitzy winter wedding and KWF really knocked it out of the park. Not only were there floral centrepieces, but also candlelight, ivory bows on chairs, floor standing candelabra, giant silver mirrored vases with huge floral arrangements…the list goes on.

This couple not only have an eye for décor but they also know how to choose a menu. There was a choice of rump of lamb, sea bass fillet or pan fried chicken wrapped in prosciutto followed by a trio of desserts.

After coffee, miniature bottles of Moet and Chandon were served to toast the upcoming speeches which broke with tradition by beginning with our beautiful Bride.

After some heart felt and emotional words, it was time to start the party with the Southwood Hall house DJ kicking things off and welcoming the happy couple to the floor for a very romantic first dance before singer Dale Bullimore – Bublé Tribute , Event and Wedding Singer. took to the stage to serenade the party.

The rain held off to allow the KWF giant lit letters to be positioned outside for some stunning photographs before people made their way out to the Southwood Kadai fire bowls for the sausage sizzle and for those who prefer something sweet there was a choice of doughnuts, the decadent chocolate buffet and fabulous cupcakes from Vanilla Cake Design.

It is clear to see how much this couple are loved from the friends and family who all clearly adore them, and we can see why.  It has been an absolute pleasure to help Mr and Mrs Woodgate’s dream wedding day come true x
